As a business owner this has been a very hard year. On top of that the lack of activity and the countless amount of hours just sitting in front of my computer, I'm sure I am not the only one who has put on those Covert Kilos or pounds depending on where you live.
Although I have tried to be disciplined as not having too much junk in the house for us to snack on I still find myself looking into the fridge each time I happen to walk past it.
I have also been trying to get out and go for a daily walk which is not only good for my physical but also my mental health.
So my plan of attack is firstly I have purchased a stand up desk ( every calorie counts), the idea is to burn more than I eat.
Secondly I plan to walk 5 km per day, this sounds a lot but should only take about an hour. Since I used to sit in my car for approximately 2 hours a day I cant really say I don't have an hour to spare. They say the best exercise is the one you actually do. I figure I can't make up many excuses for this one, if it rains I can just put on my coat. I have just purchased some new walking shoes from Big W in Melbourne $40 for a great pair of size 11 Slazenger's. (Bargain)
Thirdly I'm going to do the 21 day smoothie challenge. Replace 1 or 2 meals a day with energising smoothie from a select recipe. Apparently it's been proven that you can't out exercise a bad diet!
